Discussion question for August 24, 2012.

Depending on your view of sovereignty, God either allows or causes you to suffer.  How come?  What are the general purposes of suffering?  How are you affected personally by it?  When is it appropriate to ask for relief from suffering?  What can you expect as you pray according to God’s will?
